About Us
The American Society of Civil Engineers is a nationwide organization with school branches across all 50 states. The American Society of Civil Engineers is a network of Civil Engineers that aids in furthering career development. We, as a club, will offer students with the ability to attend events with the New York Metropolitan area branch, in which they can collaborate with other students and professionals to network and grow within the field. In addition to regional events, we will have speakers talk about certain topics within the civil engineering sphere as well as workshops to insure the growth of students within City Tech. Lastly, ASCE has a Steel Bridge event in which schools from across the country compete to fabricate and build a bridge. Our goal as a school is to go to the national event for our Steel Bridge Team.
